It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Brenda Arlene Tryon (Crawford) at Andy's House, Port Carling on April 8, 2026 at the age 74.

Brenda was a beloved mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, strength and warm spirit. She had a way of making those around her feel welcomed, loved and understood, her presence brought comfort and joy to many.

Born on November 10, 1951 in Huntsville, Ontario, Brenda grew up in Minden and after completing her education in hairdressing, she moved to Brampton where she started and maintained a successful hair salon for many years. Brenda was drawn to the quiet beauty of the Muskoka area where she enjoyed her retirement gardening, knitting, reading, playing bingo and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Those who knew Brenda will always remember her for her quiet demeanor, sense of humor and love of nature.

Brenda is lovingly remembered by her children, Conrad Tomporowski (Taylor, Kaycee), Diana Hiltz (Drew, Dustin, Joey) stepchildren James Tryon (Corey, Tanner, Taylor, Jackie), Kevin Hiltz (Clinton, Jacqueline), Joe Hiltz (Denise, AJ, Andy), Cindy Hiltz (David, Danielle), siblings Susan Gosnell (Shawn, Andrew, Jordan), JR Dean (Danielle, Rachel), Judy Kircher (Brad), Coralea Coulter (Jim, Jessica), uncle Murray Crawford as well as many extended family members and dear friends.

Brenda was predeceased by her father, Elmer Crawford, mother Mable Thompson, step-mother Frances Crawford, brother Doug Crawford, sisters Joan Harrison (Ron, Michael), Ann Crawford (Roger, Lacy-Jae) and husbands Richard Tryon, Dave Hitz and Joe Tomporowski.

Though she is no longer with us, Brenda’s love and light will remain in the hearts of all that knew her.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Andy’s House for the exceptional care, comfort and dignity they provided to Brenda and family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Andy’s House Hospice Muskoka.

Brenda did not wish to have a service. Family will be celebrating her privately.
