SMITH, Carole Lorraine (nee Lougheed) Peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge onThursday, May 28, 2015 at the age of 78 years. Carole Lorraine Smith predeceased by her husband Raymond Ward Smith in 1999. Beloved companion to Roy Charles Brown of Gravenhurst for the past eleven years. Beloved mother to Scott (Jane) Mitchell , Garry (Debbie) Mitchell, Paul (Fatima) Mitchell and Tracey Mitchell (Jan) all of Kitchener. Carole is survived by her brother David (Holly) Lougheed of Kinmount. Carole will be missed by her grandchildren and by her great grandchildren and by her many friends and her special friend Sarah. In keeping with Carole's wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering for family and friends to celebrate her life will take place at the Gravenhurst Royal Canadian Legion Hall, 290 Veteran's Way, Gravenhurst on Saturday, August 15, 2015 from 1:00 until 5:00 pm. A light lunch will be served during this time. Celebrations will continue at 7:30 pm with a live band and a dance.
