Christy Anne Green

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Christy Anne Green, Beloved Wife of Mario Poto of Thornhill, and Cherished Daughter of Lorrie Henry and Paul Fraser of Gravenhurst.

Christy is the treasured Granddaughter of the late Cleone Henry Jardine and Bill Henry, and the late Evelyn and Earl Sr Green. She held close in her heart the memory of her late family members Connie Henry, George Carter and “Dar” Fraser.

She shared a lasting bond with Dan Mihailescu, Alison Robson, Mark Robson, Sydney Robson and Tye Robson, Ted Fraser

Her name is Christy, a gentle soul, with a heart so full, it made her whole.

She sees the world through loving eyes, A haven for the weak, a sweet surprise.

The stray cats came, a quiet tide, and in her arms, they found a place to hide.

The wounded birds, with broken wings, she mended them and helped them sing.

She whispers to the timid deer, A fearless friend, banishing all fear.

The dogs would follow her, a loyal train, Through sun-drenched fields and gentle rain.

She had a purpose, pure and true, to love and heal, in all she'd do.

 But time, a thief with hurried feet, Took her away, a loss so bittersweet.

The world feels quieter, a little less bright, Without her warmth, without her light.

But in each creature, big or small, A piece of her remains, standing tall.

For her kindness bloomed, a vibrant seed, and in their hearts, it meets their need.

So, rest in peace, sweet Christy, kind and true, the animals remember, and so do we.
