Cynthia Susan Brush, affectionately known as Cindy, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the age of 65 in Port Carling, Ontario. She was born on August 26, 1958, in Bracebridge, Ontario. Cindy was a caring and generous individual who touched the lives of many with her problem-solving abilities and straight-shooting nature. She possessed a tough yet strong spirit that guided her through life's challenges.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband of over 40 years, Ron Brush, who stood by her side through thick and thin. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared memories. She will forever be cherished by their two sons Ryan (Alice) and Aaron (Jessica). Cindy was able to watch both of her sons get married in the summer of 2022.

Family played an integral role in Cindy's life, and she held them dear to her heart. She leaves behind cherished memories of time spent together with her siblings Stephanie (Casey), Adrienne (Dale), Randy, Clay as well as sisters-in-law Sue (Gerry), Shelley, and Debbie, as well as her brother-in-law Ted. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Cindy was predeceased by her parents Lincoln and Norma Walker. Their unwavering support shaped Cindy into the remarkable person she became. She was also predeceased by Ron's parents, Janet and Bruce Walker.

Cindy found joy in various activities throughout her life. She was an avid Costco shopper and Amazon orderer, always seeking out the best deals. As a sports fan, she cheered passionately for her favorite teams and relished in the excitement of the games. She was very proud of her boys following their dreams in sports. Enjoying watching Ryan play hockey and Aaron in golf. Additionally, Cindy had a love for travel and enjoyed visiting beach and desert destinations. She was known as the family travel planner. Exploring new places brought her a sense of adventure and fulfillment.

In the kitchen, Cindy's culinary talent shone brightly. Her family and friends were blessed to experience her delicious meals created with love and meticulous attention to detail. Cooking was not just a hobby for Cindy but rather an expression of her creativity and devotion to nurturing those around her.

Cindy will be deeply missed by all those fortunate enough to have known her. Her impact on their lives will resonate for years to come. She will forever be remembered as a compassionate, strong-willed, and loving individual who brought joy and positivity into every room she entered.

In following Cindy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Walker’s Point Community Centre on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 1:30-4:00pm. Casual attire as per Cindy’s wishes.
