Elizabeth Adshead

Peacefully at Leisureworld Muskoka Nursing Home in Gravenhurst on Wednesday April 4, 2012 with her loving family at her side. Elizabeth Adshead (nee Rees). Fondly known as Bess. Beloved wife of the late Douglas George Adshead who died in 1990 and the late Stanley George Stonestreet who died in 1983. Beloved mother to Dianne Newsome (Rolf Tevely) of West Vancouver, Rev. Maureen Hair (Ralph Hair) of Gravenhurst and Elaine (Dave) Robbins, all of Gravenhurst. Bess is predeceased by her sister Catherine Schenk. She was the beloved grandmother of six grandchildren; Julia Hofman (Fred) of West Vancouver, Craig Newsome (Monique) of Vancouver, Paul Newsome of Vancouver, Graham Porter (Jane McGregor) of Toronto, Todd Porter (Tanya) of Stouffville and Adam Robbins of Gravenhurst. Bess was predeceased by her granddaughter Julie Robbins in 2002. Bess was the great-grandmother to four great grandchildren; Carleigh, Bradley, Mitch and Emily.
