Eunice Helen Blanchard

It is with sadness that we share the passing of EUNICE RICKETTS BLANCHARD, on April 15, 2026, in her 93 year.

Eunice was the daughter of Fred and Helen Ricketts and sister to Marjorie, Gwen, Bernice, Roy, Fred Ricketts as well as Hugh and Bruce Stephenson.

Eunice married Gordon Campbell Blanchard (d.1997) son of John and Geraldine Blanchard, in 1955 and together they raised 4 children , Jo-Ann (d.2021), Stephen, Bonnie, and Annette (d.2015) and she had one grandson, Graeme.

Eunice lived 79 years in her hometown of MacTier, moving to Bracebridge in 2012 and to the Manor in Gravenhurst last summer. Among her favourite past times were FISHING and PLAYING CARDS…ANYWHERE ANYTIME AND ANY TYPE.

In Bracebridge she shared great memories with her AMIGOS Jessie and Marie and Lifelong MacTier friends, June and Mary.

As a nurse, Eunice dedicated her life to the Health and Welfare of the residents of MacTier.

Memorial contributions to Mariposa House Hospice, Orillia would be greatly appreciated.
