Frederick Petsura

PETSURA, Frederick Louis (Fred) Veteran of W.W. II Member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #302, Gravenhurst. Member of the Gravenhurst Masonic Lodge and Muskoka Shriners. Peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Thursday, February 2, 2017 in his 91st. year. Beloved husband to Marilyn Petsura of Gravenhurst. Beloved father to Paul (Mary) Petsura of Gravenhurst, Kerry (Fraser) Lockhart of Gravenhurst. Fred was predeceased by his daughter Lynn Williams in 1993. Step-father to Dawna (Ian) Sturrock of Innisfil. Loving grandfather to Tara Williams of Bracebridge, Laura Lockhart of Huntsville and Cameron Lockhart of Grand Falls-Windsor, Newfoundland. Step-grandfather to Shawn (Kate) Urquhart of Brantford and Kevin (Hiliary) Urquhart of Rosseau. In keeping with Fred's wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate Fred's life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Hall in Gravenhurst on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 12:00 p. m. until 2:00 p.m. In memory of Fred, donations to the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
