Cooke, George Lemuel Peacefully at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 in his 82nd year. George Lemuel Cooke beloved husband to Mary Ann Cooke (nee Schell) of Kilworthy.Beloved father to: Martin Cooke, Marleene Parret, Phyllis Lemorie and Mark(Wanda) Cooke.Predeceased by his daughter Brenda Ann Cooke-Kunkle in 1995. Beloved brother to Frank Cook (Florence Reddell) of Gravenhurst. George was predeceased by his siblinigs; Jack Cook, Alice Prosser, Nellie Heinz and Annie Cocker. Loving grandfather of 19 grandchildren and great grandfather to 19 great grandchildren. In keeping with Mr. Cooke's wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at the Mickle Memorial Cemetery, Gravenhurst on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00 a. m. Following this, family and friends are invited to the Calvary Baptist Church in Gravenhurst from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p. m. to visit with the Cooke family members and to share stories and memories.
