HOLMES, Harry James Jr. Peacefully at The Pines Long Term Care Facility in Bracebridge onThursday, January 26, 2017 with his loving family at his side. Harry James Holmes Jr. in is 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Inez Holmes (nee Goodman) who predeceased Harry in 2009. Beloved father to: Dennis Holmes (Helen) of Gravenhurst, Pat Thompson (Mike) of Bracebridge & Mark Holmes of Severn, Ont. Beloved brother to Evelyn Beiers, Florence Reed and Madeline Robinson all of Gravenhurst. Harry was recently predeceased by his brother Harley Holmes on Dec.21, 2016. Loving grandfather to: Carey, Justin and Ryan and great grandfather to Gage. The family will received friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday, January 30, 2017 at 11:00 a. m. Interment will take place at Mickle Memorial Cemetery, Gravenhurst in the Spring of 2017.
