Middlebrooks, Joan Elizabeth Fay (nee LeBarr) Peacefully at Muskoka Shores Community Care Nursing Home in Gravenhurst on Saturday, June 18, 2016 in her 87th year. Beloved wife to Ernie Middlebrooks of Gravenhurst. Mother to Troy Middlebrooks and Tina Freeburn (Ray Jarvis) of Gravenhurst. Beloved grandmother to Natalie, Cassidy and Leigh-La. Joan will be sadly missed by Alvira Clement, Dan Freeburn and Nancy Patchett and Sherry Rowe. Beloved sister of Lloyd LeBarr (Betty) and sister-in-law of Joyce Middlebrooks. Predeceased by her sisters Ella Wood and Anne Sherwood. Joan will be remembered by her many nieces and nephews, especially Rick Rowe, Gordon Losey, Fay Losey, Donna Rowe and Marilyn Cole and cousin Pat McNaughton and Kevin Loshaw; a dear family friend. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Thursday, June 23, 2016 (today) from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Kilworthy Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial gifts to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the New Hope Free Methodist Church in Bracebridge, would be sincerely appreciated.
