John Charles Patterson passed peacefully with his wife by his side at Andy’s House Hospice in Port Carling, Ontario on August 19, 2026.

John was born on February 25, 1956 in Toronto to John and Marion Patterson.

He is survived by his wife, Lori Smith of Gravenhurst; his son, Cameron Patterson of Burlington; and granddaughter, Brooklyn Patterson.

Predeceased by his parents, John and Marion Patterson; in-laws, Douglas and Helen Smith; and daughter, Shawna Patterson.

John will be remembered for many things including his love of old cars and boats.

Cremation has taken place; interment will occur on Thursday, September 3,2026 at 1 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Meaford, ON
