John Rafferty

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of John Rafferty, who passed away peacefully on June 29, 2025, at the age of 77 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband of Audrey Rafferty and a devoted father to John and Matthew Rafferty. Born in Overton, Scotland, UK, on January 27, 1948, John was known for his unwavering dedication to his family and his strong work ethic. He worked as a Paratrooper and member of the British military Special Air Service for several years, where he was respected for his diligence, athletics, and marksmanship before immigrating to Canada to start a family with his loving wife, Audrey. He instilled in his children the importance of hard work, integrity, and always being there for their family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his passing will never be forgotten.
