WILSON, John Douglas Passed away comfortably at Muskoka Shores Nursing Home in Gravenhurst, on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at age 82. Loving husband for 57 years to Betty of Gravenhurst. Dear father of Doug (Carla) of Newmarket, Dan of Richmond Hill and the late Donny. Proud grandfather & great grandfather of Tony, Christopher, Michael, James, Jessica, Nate & Abbey. Predeceased by his siblings Kathleen (George Sproule), Bernice (Robert Fenton), Norma (Graham Burton) & Lloyd Wilson. Survived by sister-in-law Wanda and many nieces & nephews. Friends will be received at Cavill-Turner Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held in the chapel on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial gifts made to the Alzheimer Society or the OSPCA would be appreciated by the family.
