Josée Joubert-DeCaire, 66 of Tiny Township passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 11th. She was born on March 4th, 1958, in Montreal, Quebec, to parents René & Rita Joubert.

Josée Joubert-DeCaire was a devoted wife to Vernon DeCaire and a loving mother to Tiffany & Natasha Koledin. She was a cherished grandmother to Rosie Koledin, Layia, and Donte DeCaire and a loving sister to Denise, Janine (Sean), and Nathalie Joubert. She was also the loving aunt to Alana, Madelaine, Ethan, Eric, Valerie and Luc.

She dedicated her life to her family. Always in service of those around her. Her passion for fashion and shinning personality was evident in all that she did.

She touched the many lives around her with her kindness, generosity and wild spirit. She was a spiritual woman who valued native tradition and her ancestry. She loved summertime and being close to water. Loved swimming in Georgian bay and swimming in the ocean when travelling with her family and husband.

Visitation will be held at Wahta Mohawk United Church on Thursday, July 18 From 10:00AM – 2:00PM with a graveside service at Wahta Mohawk Cemetery at 2:00PM followed by a reception at the Community Centre.

 Family and friends are welcome to gather and share memories of the wonderful life she lived.

Josée will eternally be missed by all her knew her. The legacy of love and kindness will continue to inspire us.
