It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Lloyd George Francis DeValadares, who passed away on July 6, 2026, at the age of 69.
Lloyd was the beloved husband of Jackie DeCaire and the loving father of Christopher (Nicole), Matthew (Samantha), and Karen (Greg), who were the pride and joy of his life. Cherished grandfather of Charlize, Seth, Aislynn, Owen, Savanah, and Caleb. He also had one great-grandson, Ridley
He will be lovingly remembered by his siblings, Carol Fraser (Pete), Sue Broomer (Brad), and Alan DeValadares (Sue), as well as the mother of their children, Jennifer, and many extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his brother Paul in 2025.
Lloyd lived a rich and fulfilling life, finding some of his greatest happiness in the outdoors. He especially cherished hunting and fishing trips with his sons on Three Mile Lake, where countless family memories were made. One memorable adventure involved a giant musky that dragged their boat across the water and nearly ended up onboard - a story that would be retold with laughter for years to come.
Matthew recalls his father's courage and devotion, remembering that Lloyd quite literally saved his life following a serious ATV accident at Three Mile Lake. Christopher describes his father as a man of unwavering consistency - someone you could always count on, no matter the circumstance. Lloyd's steady presence, strength, and dependability will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Cavill Funeral Home, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m.
Forever loved, forever remembered.
