Margaret Ramona Vincent Phillip
1921-2018
Born in St Catharines Ontario, Margaret moved to Milverton Blvd in Toronto with her parents William and Isabell Vincent. There she was an active member in her United Church youth group, synchronized swimming and speed skating. After graduating from Riverdale High School went on to Ontario Teachers College. Margaret was also an ambulance driver during the war years and had a long career with both the Toronto and Etobicoke School Boards.
Margaret was married to Robert Phillip of Agincourt during WW11 and they remained in the Toronto area for her entire life.
She was preceded in death by her father William Vincent, her mother Isabell Vincent and her two sisters Anna Turner and Marion Shelvock. Margaret will be sadly missed by her son Edward Phillip, daughter Judith Snyder, niece Ruthie Jeffery, her grand children Kevin and Jennifer Phillip, Jennifer Phillip, Nicole and Josh Jones, Cheryl Phillip, Corinne and Karl Vornsand, Robin Snyder, Martin Snyder and Evan Snyder and her great grand children Elizabeth, Wyatt, Liam, Anna, Tyler, Austin, Makayla and Nathaniel.
Margaret shared her affection and smile to friends, neighbours and strangers alike and always made herself available to give a helping hand. We shall miss you so very much xox
