Mary Jones

Passed away peacefully at Mariposa House Hospice in Orillia on Friday September 23, 2022. She was in her 92nd year. Mary was the beloved wife of the late Murray Jones. Cherished mother of Ken (Susan), late Bob (Pat), Carol (Kevin), Sharon (Reg), and Doug. Loving grandmother of Jessica, Nathan, Stephanie, Bryan, Jocelyn, and their spouses. Mary adored her great grandchildren Jacob, Lexi, Christian, Ryley, Addison, Drayven, and Maryn as well as her three great-great grandchildren.   Dear sister of Orville, and Dorothy. Also missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Mary mourned the loss of her siblings, Wilber, Madeline, Muriel, and Lloyd.

Mary raised her five children plus many foster children over the years. She worked at Rubberset and the Muskoka Centre.

In her spare time, Mary enjoyed bowling, curling, shuffleboard, cards, and other games at the Manor these last years. She was also a pro at Bingo.

Special heartfelt thanks to the staff at the Gravenhurst Manor and Mariposa House Hospice for the wonderful care of they gave Mary. Much appreciation to Dr. Chris Richardson and Susan Clark RN for their guidance and support.
