Cook, Maurice Stanley Suddenly but peacefully at his residence at the Gravenhurst Manor on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at the age of 92 years. Maurice Stanley Cook beloved husband of the late Marjorie Grace Cook (nee Conway) who predeceased Maurice on January 25, 2009. Beloved father to Paul (Mary) Cook of Gravenhurst, Brenda (Barry) Maw of Severn and Donna Cook-Gentile of Newmarket. Much loved grandfather to Laura (Jeremy) Kiehl, Michael Cook and fiancé Jenn Black, Kathleen Cook, Brandon Maw, Brent Maw, Sam Gentile and Joe Gentile. Great grandfather to Will Kiehl. Beloved brother to Olive Pitson of Toronto and Gerald (Rose) Cook of Muskoka Falls. Maurice was predeceased by his siblings Lawrence and Gladys Cook, Audrey and Bill Sawdon and Carl and Mavis Cook and by his brother-in-law Harold Pitson. In keeping with Mr. Cook's wishes, cremation has taken place. A gathering to celebrate Maurice's life will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018 from 12 noon until 4:00 p.m. at the Cook family farm, a place where Maurice enjoyed spending his time.
