Michael Robert Cochrane

With heavy hearts, we are saddened to announce the sudden passing of Michael Robert Cochrane. Michael was born and raised in the city of Toronto then moved to Muskoka around 2009.

Michael was predeceased by his parents Harold and Shirley.

Michael is survived by his brother Steven and sister-in-law Debbie, his niece Ashley and her children Carrie and Aiden, his nephew Kyle, his wife Layla and their children Connor and Hannah, his cousins Carol and Eric and their family, Gary and Barb and their family.

Most importantly, Michael is survived by his best buddy and loyal companion, his cat Sammy.

Michael owned a successful local business in Gravenhurst, Muskoka Custom Woodcrafting. He was always a very talented, creative, and artistic person from childhood, and it showed in his work.

Special mention and thank you to Michael's neighbours who jumped in to assist his family in a time of need.

A Celebration of Life will be held with a date still to be determined. A date will be published on this website once decided.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, an Animal Rescue, or a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
