Christian, Norma Beatrice (nee White) 1914 ~ 2016 Passed away peacefully at the Muskoka Shores Nursing Home in Gravenhurst on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 surrounded by the love and care of her family. Norma Beatrice Christian in her 103rd. year. Norma was predeceased by her husband John Christian and by her first husband Clifford Coon. Much loved mother to John (Elsie) Christian of Manitoulin Island, Dale (Earl) Boone of Gravenhurst, Nancy (Dennis) Morrison of Washago, Laurie (Douglas) Wallis of Gravenhurst and Bruce (Vero) Christian of Courtice. Norma was predeceased by her eldest son Ronald Coon and his wife Sue of Gravenhurst. Beloved sister to Jim (Aileen) Passmore of Gravenhurst, Shirley Booth and Glenn (Carol) Passmore both of Mississauga. Norma was predeceased by her brother Bruce White and by her sister Jessie Brock. Much loved grandmother of nine grandchildren and great grandmother of sixteen great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home in Gravenhurst on Friday, December 30, 2016 from 11:30 a. m. until 1:30 p. m. A service to celebrate Mrs. Christian's life will be held in the chapel on Friday, December 30, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place. In memory, donations to the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
