It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pat, a deeply loved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend.

Pat is survived by her devoted husband Keith, with whom she shared 57 loving years of marriage. Their love story began when Keith was home on leave from the Navy. He spotted Pat dressed in a black cape, figure skating at the local arena. He was taken with her instantly and it was truly love at first sight. After Keith left the Navy and returned permanently to Gravenhurst, they began to build their beautiful life together and start their family.

Pat was a proud and loving mother to her daughters Tammy (late Ronnie), Casey (Rob), and Mandy. Her life was devoted to her children, and nothing brought her greater joy than being close to them.

She was a cherished grandmother to Dylan, Ashley (Alessandro), Savanah, Emma (Aidan), Keaton, Makena, and great-grandmother to T.J. Her love for her children extended greatly to her grandchildren and even her grand dogs and cats, whom she always spoiled.

Pat is also survived by her sister Sharon; brothers-in-law Neil (Margie), Roy (Karen), and Mike (Wendy); sisters-in-law Linda (Stuart), Gail, Jackie (Ian), Carol (Steve), Colleen (Denis), as well as Pat’s many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her special friend Nancy.

She was predeceased by her mother Judy; aunt Lylas; mother-in-law Doreen; her brothers Leonard, David, and Roy; brother-in-law Wayne (Anne) and her sister Clara (Alex).

Pat had a deep love for Motown music and many other special songs. She loved HGTV and had a wonderful flair for design. She was known for the pride she took in keeping her home spotless and beautiful. Her home was decorated with lilacs and white roses given to her by her girls. Pat also had a big sweet tooth, and no drive past Dairy Queen was complete without stopping for a banana split. One of Pat’s dreams was to live on a ranch and take care of horses.

Pat had the biggest heart and was one of the kindest people anyone could ever meet. She will be remembered for her devoted care and love of her family, her warmth, and the joy she brought to all of those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.

To honour Pat’s wishes, there will be no service.
