It is with profound sadness and much love that we say goodbye to Patricia “Pat” Mary Kuebler, who departed this life on Wednesday December 10, 2025.
She is survived by her husband, Paul. Sons, Eric (Erica) and Andrew. Sisters, Rebecca Griffith (Glen) and Peggy Wright (John), as well as her brother James McNeil. Grandmother of Ben, Nate, Emma, Matteo, and Rylie. She was so looking forward to greeting her sixth grandchild this coming February. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Pat earned her Nursing Degree at Ryerson Polytechnical Institute in 1976, with her final exam days before she married Paul. Pat then worked as an RN in several Hospitals, including Guelph, Sarnia, and Mission B.C.. While living in Ajax, Pat worked as a VON helping patients in their homes. Then Pat moved to nursing in two doctors' offices in Pickering and Scarborough, from which she retired in 2012. Pat loved working with newborns, often being the "go-to nurse" to give injections, as the children never cried.
She was the heart of the household, keeping the family connected and grounded. Pat also has many longstanding friendships that she held close to her heart.
She brought the same compassion and work ethic that defined her nursing career into her role as a stay at home Mom, while later delivering volunteer service to South Muskoka PROBUS and the Parry Sound-Muskoka GPO.
Pat loved to read, doing puzzles, playing cards and games. Pat absolutely loved and cherished her time with her grandchildren.
During COVID, Pat and Paul purchased a Winnie recreation vehicle, allowing them to travel, visiting family and friends. Then continued to RV travel across Canada from Newfoundland to Banff, Alberta. They also enjoyed global trotting with friends to Italy, France, Germany (4), and Greece.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the paramedics and medical staff at Huntsville Hospital, including the nurses, doctors and staff from ER to ICU and beyond. We are deeply moved by their persistence and expertise, but above all, we are grateful for the genuine warmth they shared with us through every moment during our brief stay.
A Funeral Service will be held at Cavill Funeral Home on Saturday, December 20, 2025, with visitation from 11:00 am-12:00 pm, and service beginning at 12:00 pm.
