It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Pauline Sabourin on August 3, 2025, at Huntsville District Memorial Hospital.
Pauline was the beloved daughter of the late Edward and Patricia Sabourin, and dear sister to the late Paul Sabourin. Though her immediate family was small, Pauline’s heart was expansive. She is lovingly remembered by her cherished friends Jay, Fox, Robyn, Peter, Judy, and Wendy Shelly who became her chosen family.
Pauline will be remembered for her infectious laugh and sharp sense of humor - she had a gift for finding joy in the everyday and sharing it with those around her. Her kindness and compassion touched many, and despite life’s challenges, she remained generous in spirit and unwavering in love.
Strong-willed and resilient, Pauline stood firm in her beliefs and faced adversity with courage. Her deep bond with her cat, Josie, was a testament to her capacity for love and loyalty - Josie was not just a pet, but a true companion and family.
Though Pauline had little in material wealth, her emotional and spiritual generosity enriched the lives of those who knew her. Her presence was comforting, her laughter uplifting, and her friendship enduring.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 12 at Baysville Community Cemetery, where Pauline will be laid to rest alongside her mother and brother.
She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
