Holmes, Percy Arthur (Owner & Operator for over 25 years Percy A. Holmes Wiring & Plumbing) Peacefully at his home in Kilworthy on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Percy Holmes in his 80th year. Beloved husband to Fern Holmes (nee Denne). Beloved father to Bart (Carol) Holmes of Wahta and Bonnie McCallum of Kahshe Lake. Much loved grandfather to Kyla, Evan, Jessica and Justin. Great grandfather to Jordana. Percy is survived by his siblings; Gerald and Nola Holmes , Doreen and Carl Barnes and Linda and Robert Barnes all of Gravenhurst and Patsy & John Thomson of Kilworthy. Percy was predeceased by his brother Ken and his wife Joan and by his parents Art and Ida Holmes. In keeping with Percy's wishes cremation has taken place. A gathering for family and friends to celebrate Percy's life will be held at the Severn Bridge Community Hall, 1035 Southwood Road, Severn Bridge on Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 1:00 until 4:00 pm.
