Ruth Marguerite Roberts (nee Dufton) With great sadness the family announces the peaceful passing of Ruth Roberts on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at Granite Ridge Retirement Residence, Gravenhurst in her 91st year. Pre-deceased by her loving husband of 64 years; Murray (2014). They are together again. Devoted mother of Barbara (Tom), Marnie (Tom) and Ron (Liz). Loving grandmother of Jamie and Julia, Nicole (Dennis) and Hillary and Josh. Great grandmother of Nathan and Lucas. Ruth is survived by her brothers Jim Dufton (Susan) and Joe Dufton (Joan), pre-deceased by brothers; Donald Dufton (1943), Warren Dufton (1993) and Grandson Michael Webster (2004). She was, without a doubt, the best mother a child could ask for, who loved us all unconditionally. A sweet, gentle lady who will be terribly missed. A celebration of life will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home & Cemetery, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville, Ontario on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy memorial donations can be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
