Sheila Bernice DeCaire passed away peacefully at Andy’s House – Hospice Muskoka on Sunday, May 17, 2026. Beloved wife of the late Bert DeCaire.

Sheila is survived by her children, Brenda, Teresa (David), Rosemary, and Alan (Ursula), as well as her grandchildren, Cory, Ryan (Cirila), Becka, Daniel, and Craig. Sheila will also be missed by her sister Sue (late Leon) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, Troy, and siblings Ray (Lorna), Jesse, Baldy, Bob, Mary (Glenn), and Howard (Sheila). She was also predeceased by brothers and sisters-in-law, John (Sylvia), Lloyd (Doris), David (Clarabell), Jean (John), Archie (Iris), Elmer (Audry), Isabel (John), Leslie (Madeline), Harrison (Carol), and Wifred (Clara).

As per Sheila’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at the Bracebridge Legion on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Memorial donations made to Andy’s House – Hospice Muskoka (https://www.hospicemuskoka.com/andyshouse) would be appreciated and may be arranged online or through Cavill Funeral Home.
