Todd Joseph Rumble

RUMBLE, Todd Joseph—passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Andy’s House-Hospice Muskoka in Port Carling on Tuesday, June 10, 2025. Beloved husband of Gwen Rumble.

Todd will be dearly missed by his children Michael Rumble, Rebecca Lemay, and stepsons Tyler White ( Candice) and Adam White (Emma). Loving grandfather of Easton and Aurora Lemay, and Sophie-Belle and Levi White. He is survived by his siblings Paul Kool (Liz), Theresa McIntosh (Roy), stepsisters Dawn Lockheart (Norm), Lesley-Ann Grainger (Todd), and sister-in-law, Nickey Breuker (Henk). He was predeceased by his sister, Michelle Nichols. Todd is also survived by his parents Karen and Ken Hewitt.

Todd was a devoted family man. Everything he did was for his family. He lived for his grandkids and would Facetime them every night to check in and say goodnight. He would bring Timbits for Easton and Rory, and they would suck off all the icing and sprinkles, and then offer him the wet, mushy piece that was left. Sophia and Levi called him “Grandpa Toad”, which he liked.

Todd was very generous. He would help out anyone in need, regardless if he knew them.

Todd worked hard his whole life to support his family and had a successful career installing septic systems and general excavation. He worked for several local hauling companies and was also a road foreman for the Town of Gravenhurst before starting his own company, Rumble & Associates. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Andy’s House-Hospice Muskoka. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 1:00-4:00pm at the Gravenhurst Legion, 290 Veterans Way, Gravenhurst, Ontario.
