LACROIX, Valerie Rachel Kathleen (nee Dungey) After a long and courageous battle with multiple health issues, Valerie passed away suddenly at the South Muskoka Memorial Hospital in Bracebridge, surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at age 68. Beloved wife of Eric Lacroix of Gravenhurst. Loving mother of Christine Loshaw (Brent), Connie Kennedy (Rob) and Alex Lacroix (Heather Collicutt. Proud grandmother of Jordan (Tessa), Devon (Mariah), Ryan (Jessica), Kyle (Robin), Jaron, Aiden, Connor , Dylan & Tyson. Devoted aunt to Roger Dungey. Valerie was predeceased by her parents Gordon and Eileen Dungey and by her brother Vincent Dungey and by her beloved special aunt Velda Gilbert. Friends will be received at the Cavill Funeral Home, Gravenhurst, on Friday, May 25, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. and at St. James Anglican Church on Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Valerie's memorial service will begin at 10:30 at St. James Anglican Church. If desired, donations made to support the South Muskoka Hospital Foundation, The Lung Association or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
