Waltraud "Trudy" Hippe

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Trudy Hippe on July 16, 2025, at the age of 98.

Trudy will be remembered for her warm hugs, her famous apple cake, and her love of games, dance and music. She found joy in the simple things—afternoons in the garden, time with her children, and coffee with friends. Whether you knew her as a mother, a neighbour, a grandmother, or a great-grandmother, her honesty, resilience, and unforgettable laugh left a lasting impression.

She leaves behind her beloved children, Klaus, Rita, and Marie, as well as her grandchildren, Michelle, Meredith, and Shanti. Trudy is also remembered fondly by extended family and friends.

A Memorial Visitation and Service will take place on Monday, August 11, 2025, at Cavill-Turner Funeral Home, 215 Bay Street #1, Gravenhurst, Ontario P1P 1H1, with Visitation from 11:00-11:30am and Service beginning at 11:30. 

All who knew Trudy are warmly invited to attend, share stories, and celebrate her life.
