BELL, Thomas Craig – Passed away peacefully at home, with family at his side, on Tuesday, August 10, 2021. He was in his 75th year. Craig was the beloved husband of Pauline for 49 years. Loving father of Kimberley Ann Leslie (Philip), Denise Riggs (Larry), Jaclyn McConnell (Troy), and Jeff Bell (Louise). Cherished grandfather of Grace, Owen, Ethan, Quintin, Isla, Meghan and Luke. Brother of Elaine Komaromi (Victor).

Craig recently celebrated 50 years in the profession as an Electrician, and established his business here in Muskoka of TC Bell Electric. As an Electrician, he was known for his attention to detail, perfectionism and patience with each job he encountered. He served as the President of the Ontario Electrical League for 2 terms, in the Muskoka Area, a position he was very proud. His true passion was his work on the Muskoka Steamships the Segwun and Winona.

He had many outside loves from his career. His knowledge was outstanding of the very old classic cars to the very new. He could name the year and model from 200 feet away. He had endless books and magazines on cars and was always a book of knowledge when help was needed. His passion flooded over to an appreciation of classic boats and motors. Would regularly attend any Classic Car and boat shows he could find.

His one true love and happy place will always be his childhood home at the cottage in Cloyne, Ontario. He grew up working at a fishing lodge for many summers beside the cottage. This love of the cottage was shared with his Wife and Children by continuing the tradition of summers at the cottage. it was a time to reconnect and remind us all of the importance of Family.

His love of “collectables” was endless….endless….endless. You name it he had it. However, he would not let you take it, use it, borrow it…it was his, and everyone that knew him, knew it! Although he would do anything for anyone if they had asked, always willing to help when someone was in need. This included his children, he was that phone call all of his children would make when something would go wrong and he was always so patient when having to walk them through troubles.

He was a gentle man and admired by many. He had so much love to give all those around him. He will be missed by wife Pauline that would have celebrated 49 years of Marriage on August 12th, 2021. He had a way of making her laugh, and keeping her on her toes that made life always exciting.

His struggle with Heart disease began in 2004 but he fought the good fight and amazed all medical staff that encountered him. In acknowledgement of all those that helped him we are asking that any donations be made to the Southlake Regional Medical center in Newmarket to the Heart Function Program, in his name.

We will miss you Dad…..all your suffering is over and you are cruising through the good life now in your classic old car in heaven.
