Cavill, Robert Joseph "Robbie"

Passed away peacefully at Muskoka Shores Care Community on Friday, April 15, in his 64th year, after battling various health issues for the past few years.

Beloved son of the late W. Joseph and Muriel (Taylor) Cavill, former co-owners of the W.J.Cavill Funeral Home in Gravenhurst. Beloved brother of Cathy(Cavill) McNeice (Tom) of Gravenhurst, and beloved cousin to many on the Cavill family side. Special friend of John and Myrna Hamilton, Fred Schulz , and special relative to the McNeice clan. And of course ,Hunter and Crystal, his 4 legged bed mates!

Robbie was a special little fellow, who touched many people on his various journeys through life, all the while enduring numerous health issues, with a big smile on his face. He was a man about town during his time at the Cavill Funeral Home, turning a 15 minute trip uptown to get the mail, into a half day venture, visiting numerous main street merchants and finding out and reporting all the latest gossip.

A special thank you to the staff at Muskoka Shores, whose care and compassion  made Robbie's last 3 years more comfortable, especially during these Covid times, and who we are indebtedly grateful to. You truly are angels on earth!!

Cremation has taken place, with arrangements entrusted to the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11am -12 noon on Wednesday, April 27th at the Cavill-Turner Funeral Home where the service will be held in the chapel at 12 noon with Fred Schulz officiating. Donations to Sick Kids Hospital, or a kind gesture to another would be greatly appreciated.
